High Powered Rifle League
Equipment and Fees:
US Military Service Rifle (AR-15, M1A1, M1 Garand) Eye and ear protection
Events are $8 per registered shooter
Background Information:
The High powered rifle league trains in use of US military style rifles using iron sights and participates in competitions sponsored by the RI High Powered Rifle League. .All participants must be members of the NRA and either RI Rifle and Revolver or GOAL (Gun Owners Action League).
Competitions consist of:
10 rounds off hand 200 yards – 10 minutes
10 rounds sitting rapid fire 200 yards – 60 seconds
10 rounds prone rapid fire 300 yards – 70 seconds
20 rounds slow fire 600 yards, - 20 minutes
